Fewer and fewer people know their location:

- where they are
- street names and cafes etc around them
- how to get anywhere else

Memory these days is outsourced to this little device which tells us where we are and how we can get anywhere and access anything. Like electrification back in the days this happened in roughly two decades.

well said. My Father doesn't know how to use Maps on his phone. So he just asks people around. He says taxi drivers are the best to ask.
