I have an older Lenovo tablet with Android 10, no SIM card, only WiFi, that I have had for several years.
I'm going through the Apps list in Settings but can't find Gemini anywhere. I have never installed it, never used Google Assistant, AFAIK and is generally against anything that smells of AI.

Is it possible that it is sneakily installed somewhere, or is it just that my old tablet and I have luckily been spared of Gemini?

@sintrenton @Em0nM4stodon @Tutanota Android 10 reached its end of life on March 6, 2023, meaning it no longer receives security updates. It is not recommened to use such device generally. You not have received this but you also lack critical security updates. Essentially it is a vulnerable device.
@ph00lt0 @Em0nM4stodon @Tutanota Thanks for the quick response.
I am generally aware of that and act accordingly. (No bank account app on it, etc).
Simple fact is I have no other alternative, since I can't afford to buy a new one.
