joy larkin 🌺✨No it’s real, the crab is a blue crab found on the US East and Gulf coasts and yes there are jellyfish in salt and brackish water. (I used to catch crabs just like that one as a kid.)

I think you are mistaken.
I can buy that this might be manipulated - ie the crab has been placed on top of the jelly.
But if this is CGI it is really good and somebody has spent hundreds of hours modelling a swimming crab (with only one claw mind you), researched how they move, created a realistic jellyfish model, done a ton of calculations to get the lighting thru water right, and unless they have access to a render farm, spend days, if not weeks, rendering it.
@Torstein the one thing that is great here is the composition. The crab you can download, the jellyfish, too. You can do this on an average computer with Blender in a days work. They botched the translucency on the jellyfish and the motion is way to hectic and very unrealistic, too. No need to do "calculations", just a keen eye and some 3d artist experience. There is footage of an actual crab riding an actual jellyfish and it looks nothing like this.
