@Lana of courese it's geoengineering, or rather terraforming. Dumping massive amounts of CO2 in the atmosphere is terraforming the planet back to climate from the dinosaur times.
Just add reptilians, which are now in power, to the mix, and you get a conspiracy theory which may actually make people buy solar cells and electric cars.
