I bake because it makes me happy right before it makes someone else happy. I was anxious to be sure the cinnamon bread was cooked through in the middle. It's hard to cut it cleanly while warm.
The drizzled frosting is cinnamon and vanilla.
I will drop a loaf off to the grandkids tomorrow. They always slice it up, dip in egg batter and throw it on the griddle for grandma special French toast.
Today has been a good day.
Summer has been the center of our world.
