Smoke from stupid fireworks is tripping my smoke/CO detector. No one cares that it’s illegal to shoot fireworks off in Memphis. It’s better than when we lived in midtown but still annoying for all the animals and scared wife

@ner I don't know legal it is here, but it's definitley happening. I think it is allowed up until midnight, and I think as long as they're not airborn too far you can do it. Thankfully, they dont' bother me. I enjoy the racket.

@remixman @ner I honestly like it. I purposely went to see fireworks last night with my parents. And, if it weren't still 80+ degrees out there, I might be out listening to it instead of it coming through closed windows.

@ner we didn't have anything trip our smoke/CO detector, but at one point it did scair our yungest son out of a dead sleep, and he edoesn't like the sound of them so it scaired him, and made him cry. like you, nevermind it is against the lease to set them off in this trailerpark, even though you are aloud to set them off in michigan, just not this particular trailer park. not only that, setting off fireworks around a trailer it just stupid anywyay, as if a trailer catches fire, they go up faster than dry kendeling. I know this as one of my uncles worked for the local fire department where he lived.
