Just found this in-game encyclopedia entry and it reinforced my belief that the only way to play Death Stranding is to, when confronted with another completely nonsensical thing, to say simply "Oh, OKAY 😎"

@aphyr I always said Death Stranding was an art house anime with some gameplay attached. This is EXACTLY how it is to be approached. 🤣

@dkub yes, I can get on board with this! The weird thing is the gameplay loops are so intensely fun and the plot is SO bonkers, it's such a strange beast
