The difference between Gaza & Auschwitz is that the world still has an opportunity to stop the ethnic cleansing in Gaza.

#gaza #auschwitz #ethniccleansing

@smlx4 no, like almost any comparison with auschwitz it’s just antisemitic to do this one, but why:

Auschwitz whole purpose became the annihilation of human (mostly yewish) life. Gaza is a war zone in which the blockade of food is heavily restricted by the IDF which leads to malnutrition of its inhabitants (in their military logic they try to establish their own non UN food distribution systems since UNRWA is embedded with Hamas and since they steal the aid and sell it to the gazan population etc.. It is an unrealistic and inhumane logic by the IDF, if you ask me, but as well it is the tactic of hamas to produce human suffering among the gazans to use their suffering as weapon against Israel).

There are many historic examples of populations on the brink of starvation because of war (that’s why war is a crime against humanity in itself). The Yemeni civil war comes to mind as a recent example (in which one side backed by the Saudis as well were strongly militarily equipped by the west). But than we couldn’t alter the past of Jewish suffering and its significance in todays world couldn’t we?

@Bl4ckst4r @smlx4 its not antisimetic to compare people being deliberatly starved and then killed when food does arrive...
@Noortjevee @smlx4 of course it isn't but it isn't happening in the same systematic logic and scale and therefore it isn't comparable. Or rather we can describe the hell of being in Gaza without the needless comparison with the Shoa

@Bl4ckst4r @smlx4

The comparison is not needles...

By saying it is you trivialize atrocities. Saying "its not as bad" when it is kinda worse....

Im done with your schtacko...bye bye...
