nixCraft 🐧Compared to all other social media platforms, Mastodon has very few 1 mintues videos (like you see those on Insta, TikTok, X etc) in my feed or in the trending tab. It has more text based content, followed by images. Very interesting! I guess humans have always liked to read and write. There is no automated alog here just humans talking and boosting what is important to them. This is how social media should be instead of constant push of clickbait videos.
Just a trash panda 🦝@nixCraft I don't know that this will be the case forever or even that long though. There are multiple projects ongoing right now to bring short form video to the Fediverse.
