They are deluding themselves if they think they will put the issue to bed by not talking about it, not defending human rights for every minority group, or by allowing an anti-Trans measure to be included in the MAGA Murder Bill.
The only way to "put it to bed" is to stand up for our values and make it no longer be something the regressive-right can attack because we have brought the majority over to our morally correct position.
Not sure it needed McBride for them to go down that hole, though. Too many of the dems are searching for culprits of their losses, and trans people are the easy targets.
