The world needs more purple cars
This Buckler was an interesting sight
The Karmann Ghia was a US car, recently imported.
Damnn those LTDs are long
I love to see an eighties Datto turning up, someone loves their Stanza.
Always people staring at Harry
This rare as unicorn shit 4 Cylinder Holden Commodore arrived. We saw this at a petrol station last year or so, my eyes popped out of my head. Completely original, when Holden tried to sell a more efficient model. Didn't sell well.
This hot rodded Morris van was so cute
This gorgeous 61(?) Chrysler was stunning inside and out. Would have been a car for someone rich, with all the mod cons at the time. And those fins are spectacular.
For a crisp Spring morning, it was a big turnout! Cars just kept on rolling in.
Hey I thought Austins were meant be teeny and cute?
This gorgeous Bristol arrived, a rarity here.
Onto the mature motors that arrived. This Chev
And this Morris
Rovers come in many shapes and sizes
I think that Holden was a rebadged Isuzu?
Nice to see some Daihatsus, there's a brand rarely seen at shows.
We saw that pink Caddy at the Good Friday cars & coffee across town.
That blue on the Falcon was utterly glorious in the sunshine.
They just kept on coming in! And such excellent makes and models. Great mix.
Holdens, git yer Holdens here.
And then a flock of Bolwells appeared! More on these further down thread as there's an interesting story I need to share.
Check out that lovely Datto
Even a Roller showed up!
A flock of Mokes arrived, I was busily sending photos to my friend with a Moke saying WHERE THE HELL ARE YA
Mokes? So many Mokes! Even a Mini Moke! So very cool.
God I love a wee Austin
Soo those Bowells! Ok so Bolwell was a kit car made here in Melbourne
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bolwell
And this bulbous one is one that almost never existed.
Just extraordinary to be able to see something so rare and unusual. Not that there's many of the other models left around. All fibreglass, they are an interesting part of Australian motoring history that many not know exists.
Old and new, they kept on coming in. Curiously, the only Lotus that turned up.
Still more people arriving.
And then this appeared. This is a new Bolwell! The co started back up in the mid noughties.

I've never seen one other than reading about it. My eyes just about popped out of my head.
Toyota powered. The owner said it was brand new and didn't know much about it. So Bolwell came up with this design almost 20 years ago and are still hand making cars. Mind boggling, considering how difficult it is to meet ADRs here too.
This yellow Bolwell is the one of 12 that shouldn't actually exist. Talk about rare.
Then these Jowett Javelins arrived
A blue Hillman Hunter rocks up and parks with a blue Ford Escort
Old and new, it doesn't matter.
As usual there's coming and goings.
Surprisingly another Roller turned up. Must not have any wedding bookings.
I bade farewell to the rarest Commodore around.
Found a Rambler Hornet lurking
Servicing a Javelin is pretty easy and accessible!
This International truck rolled in
Just love this swarm of Mokes
It was time to meander home in Harry. Spotted a Starlet on the drive.
Lovely Buick.
The Commodore is a very rare slug.
The Orange Torana has me very worried
And the yellow SL/R is gorgeous.
