I had to rescue a baby rabbit trapped in our garden fence. Hopefully the little guy gets back to his group. I put him within sight of 6 other rabbits. It was hard convincing Ellie not to touch it but human scent would mark it so I used beekeeping gloves that smell like everything but humans.

We found a lone one and it went under the cat. With no mommy it wouldn't survive but we can hope

By the time they're out and about they're weaned and ready to be on their own.
The one above has its eyes open and the white forehead spot they're brown with is gone. He's on his own now.

He's definitely old enough and on his own but my wife watched him come into the yard with 3 larger rabbits so I think he's learning the ropes as it were.
