@nrmacdonald i could see how libertarians might be incensed that a socialist entity like a municipal fire department might come fight a fire. I mean in a good libertarian society the people affected by the fire should be rugged individualists and fight it themselves, or pay the market rate to people willing to enter into a firefighting contract.

Seems like a typically libertarian reason for the use of deadly force.
