For the next release of #Conversations_im I’m switching the default for showing all messages, including sent ones, left aligned, to 'on' for all tablets.

Combine this with disabling 'Colorful chat bubbles' and this looks pretty clean and almost like a regular desktop app.

This post is also a reminder to existing tablet users that those two settings exist. Too bad there aren’t that many of you.

@daniel Hello. Please tell me why after sending the gpg key through Conversations_im I can't download it as a regular txt file? The same with the gpg encrypted txt file. I want to just send and download what I submitted.

@daniel Tablet layouts might get more popular again with Android 16 significantly improving their desktop mode. I have been using a Conversations fork a bit via my Lapdock and some additional polish to make it easier to use this way is apprechated. For example adding support for sending messages by pressing the enter key on a keyboard would be really good.
@daniel Interesting. I always use it in portrait mode, should try in landscape mode and check the settings.
