For the last few stops of the last V set run, they should have suspended* anti vandalism rules.

See the train limping into Newcastle Interchange covered in dripping spray paint, with panels hanging off, ripped seat cushions, smashed windows, maybe a fire in a toilet. Everyone going hog wild, starting the demolition early.

*— except in the quiet carriage.

In the fantastic ScFi series "The expanse" those who vandalise station infrastructure (like air or water) get spaced out of the airlock.
No trial, no jury.

I'm a stickler for due process...
But in case of train vandalism, we should just throw them out while the train is in motion...

@NewtonMark wouldn't want them to miss out - tagging with a felt-tip is surprisingly quiet, so is spray painting (apart from shaking the can) ...
