Question for the legal experts out there. What does the law say about someone swearing an oath to the constitution, then violating that oath to support someone looking to destroy the constitution? My understanding is it is treason.

@JayneMaynes The Constitution Article 3 Section 3 reads as follows: "Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court."

King George considered anyone he seemed disloyal to have committed treason, so the Framers specifically narrowed the definition.

@JayneMaynes these are all subjective judgements which require the political power to enforce, the "law" is not going to come down from the clouds and smite anyone, people have to choose to enforce rules and have to choose what the rules mean in their culture
