Back in the day, Twitter used to be really good if I set up a thread to connect freelancers with clients. Let's see if Mastodon can do it.

Clients: if you're looking for freelancers/contractors, get in the comments

Freelancers/contractors: get in the comments

Everyone else: boosts appreciated.

The market is *dead* for freelancers and a big part of that (in my opinion) is fragmentation. Let's get that network effect *back*.

#FediHire

@belldotbz Actually, I do have a company where I do programming and general it consulting. I'm wanting to develop a focus on helping small businesses have federation (or other) presence and can use tools that don't depend on cloud or some company.

I can be reached in that capacity through Jami: strange-crew - 011397713845cc14fd3579e3e56ca4c42cf68c62

I'm in West WA state.

Expert in C++ and maybe Python. Linux I do OK (user for decades). I do other things.

@belldotbz I do have interest in networking with others but can't really do anything about that quite yet. I can maybe pay for some R&D work related to my business plan, but not enough for anyone to take seriously right now.

Could also use an accountant maybe, and I'd like to work with a QA expert at some point.

If you have experience in regulated development, especially medical, then I have a growing client. Nothing currently, but at some point I think they'll be hiring more.usa.C++/Python.
