Pregnant Guppy existed at some point. i'm pretty sure it was named that because someone commented that it resembled a pregnant guppy. it was developed and used by nasa in the '60s to more quickly transport bulky, yet light rocket components.
the a330, which is what the woozy neocat airplane appears to use the silhouette of, has been developed into the BelugaXL, an aircraft that is similar in both appearance and function to the Pregnant Guppy. instead of transporting rocket parts, airbus' fleet of BelugaXLs transport parts for their aircraft production.
