Also, read John Steinbeck’s The Moon Is Down. It’s short but powerful. It’s about resistance in a Norwegian town during WW2.

The power of solidarity 🤩!!!
We teach this to our children but forget these things so easily as grown-ups!
They watch ants when they are 8 years old, but TikTok will have ruined their brains by age 15. Guaranteed. Zuckerberg etal. will see to that.
I saw it on display at my town's "No Kings" protest. I walked away thinking: "Wow. These are my neighbors? I like my neighbors." and "Look at how many!!!"
I have not. But since you mentioned Timothy Snyder, I have been reading him. I even have a t-shirt I wore to the protest: "Do Not Obey In Advance"
Some people knew immediately what that line is from. Others did not.
But it sure brought me into some interesting conversations.
I even met a young woman (I will guess: 22 years old?) .... pointed at my t-shirt and said "Timothy Snyder"
How you can be that aware at that age ..... I find heartening.
Incidentally, I mentioned you to a few people at the protest: this American I know who studied the Ukraine language and is there now.

Right. But something is still missing: the organization that will organize the (human) ants. Because the existing organizations are showing no interest in actually doing it, only in talking about it, at best. With some notable exceptions by individuals.
Also, are ants considered a class? Is this a class struggle? Pardon my foul mouth. Just asking for a friend…
@65dBnoise @rbreich
The “organizations” are not an aid but an obstacle. We must exploit their networks and resources while undermining their leadership.
The NYC mayoral election is providing an interesting test case.
