ok now this is getting weird These Watchmen panels have been haunting me on the internet this week. Someone on my embroidery group shared a cross-stitch of one, with the 'I am going to look at the stars' quote. Then somewhere here was a cartoon of a duck using this backdrop.

@docpop Where did you first learn to fold an 8-pager? I was first exposed to them around 1997 in Metro Detroit.
@elplatt I'm not sure, I feel like I learned how to do it 20 years ago, but didn't get into making them until 2019. Then I became obsessed with them and started teaching other folks.
