Philip Bragg@f4grx The slop is out of control and weirdly seems to be getting traction from real people who have no integrated slop filters. It was bad before, with simply algorithmically generated content, but now it's fake everything, not even recycled edited fakery.
@synx508 I think it is even worse on platform we naturally do not use. like tiktok.

@wdormann like the ceo of a crap tv in france said years ago, youtube is just about offering free brain time to advertisers, nothing else. the fact that some videos can be interesting is secondary now.
yesterday I started a dedicated firefox profile for commenting on some vids, which implies full js and no ad blockers... my dog the unblocked youtube experience is absolutely disgusting. yikes. Even curiousmarc videos have two ads at the beginning.
