In Android, you can set a sound for your text messages. If you don't, they'll use whatever notification sound you have set. Problem is, it's buried a billion levels deep in the Messages App's Settings! Android is customizable, yes, but is it always easy? Nope! Messages>Your Account>Message Settings>Notifications>Incoming Messages>Sound
@GamingWithEars You can do this for every notification type for every app/service, faster route is Settings>Apps (select an app)>Notifications
@dhamlinmusic This doesn't work for me. I see Notifications under the App I tried, DoorDash, but there's no place to choose a sound. Just the ability to turn different notification types on/off.
@GamingWithEars So you activate the focus point before the toggle for on/off, the one that will say the type and how many per day/week.
@dhamlinmusic Thanks! Giving me the extra clue about the Notification type did the trick!
@GamingWithEars Yeah I always forget about that til I try to do it, and you will find some that do not offer the sound choice because it would make no sense, like the playback one for Spotify.
@dhamlinmusic Ah, also good to know and makes sense as you say.
