Seriously? After a) all the talk of US’s ability to turn off spare parts and software updates, b) all the waffling about Keynesian benefits of military spending, and c) the unreliable and fascist Trump regime, the UK is still going to buy American F35 fighters and give the US the benefit of our military spend?

And where's the opposition? It would be nice to think the Greens, LibDems, SNP at least would stand against this.

@mattjhodgkinson Hey, Canada has a pre-order on 16 F-35 planes that haven’t even left the dealers lot yet.

These might be available for resale, although in full disclosure, there is a potential issue with not being able to get them serviced by a non-fascist organization.
