This is why I used the rainbow yarn for colourwork instead of on its own: the colours are a bit muddy and I don’t like them much solo #knitting #breien
In #knitting many people are familiar with the concept of “second sock syndrome”, where a second sock takes much longer to knit than the first one and, in the worst cases, fail to materialise altogether.
I’ve never had it.
But to keep you from the anxiety of me suddenly developing the disease, or the tediousness of seeing a second identical sock appearing row by row, I spread out posting about my first sock. They’re actually both done ;)

Changes: instead of the toe chart, which repeats the large butterflies, I did the small butterflies again because they didn’t show up very well in the variegated yarn. Did a short row heel instead of heelflap+gusset.
I used both regular float catching and ladderback jacquard.
Loved the pattern. Highly recommend.
