Canadian Telecom companies are such a joy. I cancel my service after getting a competitive offer from another of the major providers. I call the incumbent and ask for their rates, and get quoted a higher price. Finally when the cancellation goes through, the incumbent calls me back and offers significantly reduced rate which is less than their competitor. I don't think I'm going with the incumbent just out of spite at this point.
