@ednico As always, nice post! Your questions about obsidian:
- Sync: true, but you get what you pay for, expecting free first class syncing is silly
- Markdown, also true, but you don’t have to use the non-standard parts
- Search is obsidian only: true, there exists no search-standard across apps
Handwriting: this is the only real obsidian shortcoming, this is (still) missing, quite annoying
