Being tribal about D vs R when they are nearly identical is silly. USians start wars no matter who's in the whitehouse. It's what that country does. If you want a very long list, I can provide one to you covering your entire history. It's not pretty. Bad as the brits. Worse even (and I also have a uk passport, so I know).

I am given to understand that the two parties kind of switched around that time. Thank you for confirming that in my mind.
However, it's been said that only the USA can afford to have one party with two different names.
From out here, it just looks like USA! USA! over and over again. It doesn't matter which party dominates in congress or possesses the white house. The USA simply uses its military to beat up other countries for their resources in order to benefit their corporations. Point final.

As a reminder: the party that is threatening to invade and annex their allies and neighbors? That would be Republicans. And like I said, last four wars were started by Republicans.
