👹Archy 👹 ON + OFF
Archy takes its roots in Marian’s practice of paint-brush lettering but processes it through a highly digital treatment, suppressing most its organic nature. What’s left is a sans serif in 2 versions, [ON] and [OFF].
We met each others at the master in type design of École Estienne in Paris and Hélène already had a distinctive style, mixing her manual and illustration practices with type. All these years later, being able to collaborate on such an exciting release was really a bliss, keeping me busy from time to time these last 2 years. I wish all the best for Archy’s future.
