Me, too, man.

This is what he’s quoting. Honestly as I sit here—no election in sight—Trump ads are nonstop, from Tubi to YouTube.

Meanwhile, some expect Democrats to fight a disinfo army with a fraction of the GOP’s resources, held to a standard Republicans won’t even pretend to follow.

I can’t even explain how much I hate this shit.

Democrats once again expecting to play by a different set of rules and still win, instead of holding both parties to the same standard.

@TonyStark Crap, we are still looking for solid opposition leaders and these yahoos already with the litmus tests. I still recall how Gabbard started the 'Bernie was mistreated craze', so I'm not trusting anyone like in that post. The only litmus test we need is anti-fascist. I don't care anything else about anyone.
@TonyStark and why are any dems left on twitter?

@timo21 I wish some would come here but the few who did didn’t get treated very well. (Not by me- I didn’t do that.)

I don’t do BlueSky so I don’t know who’s on there.

Sigh.

@timo21

This is a good way to make sure Citizens United never goes away. To pass legislation, you have to win elections, and right now that means having some money to fight with. Nobody should not be shooting themselves in the foot on this but here we are.

This guy can’t move forward.

@TonyStark

I don’t understand how banning the use of super PACs by democratic candidates will get rid of Citizens United. All I see is that it will hamstring democratic candidates.

Stupid idea.

@MJ @TonyStark

And there are states like California and Alaska (and I think Louisiana?) that have “jungle” primaries where the top-2 PRIMARY vote-getters go onto the general election.

You’ve taken money away from one team, but not the other. You could end-up with 2 GOPers running against each other in the General Election, because the Dem came in 3rd.

#Puritopians are gonna be the death of me.

@Tengrain @MJ @TonyStark Except they're clearly only talking about Democratic primaries.
@TonyStark @Tengrain @rupert So are we. And even if we weren’t, it’s a bad idea.
@MJ @TonyStark It's a perfect Bernie issue:
1) It has no chance of happening so he can push it forever
2) It's "self evidently right" so he can keep yelling at people who point out obvious problems
3) And he'll never have to resolve those obvious problems. Cause #1: it'll never happen.
4) Lather, rinse, repeat.
5) Please send another $27. Those lakefront houses don't buy themselves ...
