If you want to keep up with whatās going on with elections and election law, Iād suggest Democracy Docket and Marc Elias over some random unsourced YouTube or Substack or some social media rumor.
Itās too bad he got driven off here but you can still read and subscribe to it.
If thereās something going on with election law or voter suppression, heāll have it.

I feel bad for the community, but most of these companies have business models that rely on low wages, horrible working conditions, and equipment without protections which predictably cause horrific work injuries. Those injuries result in a minimal payment along with threats that if anyone complains, theyāll call ICE and get the whole family deported.
We need fair immigration reform.

The real thing is, what we need is for a whole bunch of *Republicans* to go protest.
We need millions of previous non-voters to go *register in protest*.
And then they need to vote for Democrats.
That's not to make anyone feel bad, that's just literally, mathematically what is needed for change to occur.
The right unites while the left constantly attacks its own members and undermines the Democratic Party base.

Tip of the day:
Activism should be outcome oriented. What do you want done? And what is the best way to make that happen? Those are the questions you need to answer.
For example: Carbon sequestration is economically and sustainability out there.
Unfortunately, it requires doing things beyond lobbying to have things be done.
For another example on immigration: this is a long struggle, and there are many ways to support immigrants beyond what's happening right now in the streets. You can volunteer with pro-immigrant organizations, offer direct aid, or even pursue a career in immigration law. Channel this energy into something that makes meaningful change. But to do that, you have to stay safe and keep other people safe, and ultimately vote in people who will make good and fair immigration policy.
Just the way it is.
