They’re harmless
I let them live in the house, they eat the other insects that would be annoying, and that photo isn’t representative of their size. The big ones have a legspan about the size of the palm of my hand
I pick them up and let them walk around my hands without worry

And I don’t live in Sydney, so they aren’t a problem for me
