@Evathesewinghistorian Nice! Which landscape/parish is it from?

(I find folkdräkter fascinating - they're a snapshot in time of what people wore 300 years ago, or of what people 150 years ago imagined people could have worn 150 years earlier.)

@Evathesewinghistorian Tack, det var intressant att läsa.

Jag visste inte det var ett krav att tyget ska vara handvävt. Då är det mer historiskt korrekt än de flesta reenactors jag sett.

@cunobaros Japp. Handvävt och handsytt. Om det är den här sortens halvylle i dräkten. En del dräkter har kläde och kattuner som ju redan då var köpevaror. Linne brukar också vara maskinvävt.
