@netblocks a reason more to have a cheap #meshtastic device at home (or some similar technology)

@netblocks Thanks for keeping us posted! I would like to add that the Internet is not down in Iran; but traffic in and out of the country is mostly blocked, excepting indigenous commutation platforms like Eitaa. They still have network service within the country AFAIK. (source: friends who have family there).

Again: if you need to reach loved ones, use a platform like Eitaa and don't use foreign services especially WhatsApp. They are leveraged by the enemy to cause harm.

@netblocks Can someone explain explain the dents around midnight and around noon when connectivity was still normal?
@tmsjsn @netblocks I have no more information than you, but I'd guess that the ISP reboots some hardware at those times to enable gradual updates to software or hardware. The cutover would appear as very short outages for a bunch of users.

@netblocks

It's such a huge coincidence that this sort of thing happens just before they foolishly get somebody to invade them, don't you think?

@netblocks thanks for these update posts. I have a developer there and it helps me monitor the situation. We've had brief contact this morning but otherwise we've been out of touch since late Wednesday day now.
