I need help finding a service for transferring files, with these features:

1. No installation, website only!
2. Downloads automatically on the receiver end, no need to accept
3. Does not time out, can just keep it open on the receiving device for ever (or as long as possible) and send files to it from other devices at any time.

That's it. Does this exist?

I found https://webwormhole.com, which satisfies 1 and 2, but not 3. Help finding all three greatly appreciated! Thank you!

WebWormhole

Send files from one place to another.

Why, of course! @alternativeto to the rescue – once again!

The top result for alternative to webwormhole is https://pairdrop.net, and it really seems perfect in my testing so far!

It's even FOSS! For some very strange reason it's GPL, not AGPL, but to each dev their own, I guess. Anyways: #answered, I guess…

@forteller you could try mega, but i think it requires some kind of signup to use (use fake/bogus info to sign up)

alternatively, if youre willing to self host something on a vps there are a buuuuuuuunch of options

I use syncthing which would only satisfy 2 and 3, but works great. Use it for backup my photos and files from my fairphone on NAS at home.

All other website solutions I know need the accept on the receiver site.

I think because of security reason you have to accept the files as receiver.
