@voicesofwentworth.bsky.social meanwhile the Brisbane Liberal Council continues to approve housing on the flood plain. The apartments are designed so that at current flood levels, only the parking garages are under water. Residents remain trapped with no power. Council policy is to make this more widespread without factoring in more and worse flood events.
