Etsy has updated its Creativity Standards to require that any 3D‑printed item be made from an original design by the seller, not just printed or licensed from a third party.

Etsy didn’t officially announce the rule change, It was only discovered by sellers who noticed the update hidden deep in the “Our House Rules” section of a recent community newsletter.
