@geerlingguy which cheap IP-KVM is the one to get now? Need to be able to type in FV password on a mini after power failure and not much more, preferably powered by either the mini or POE. Hopefully actually easy to order and not waiting for a crowd funding batch or anything like that.

@paul @geerlingguy There is a GLI one, powered by USB C, I believe there is a POE one on the way.

I’ve got one on order for a remote office. https://www.gl-inet.com/products/gl-rm1/

Comet (GL-RM1)

Unlock Effortless Remote Management with Comet Basic (GL-RM1) KVM – Control BIOS, Recover Data, Self-Host Server, and Manage Systems Anytime, Anywhere!

@Craig @geerlingguy I just saw that on Amazon, but hadn't heard of it until today.
@paul @Craig @geerlingguy I’ve got one of their little travel routers for trips away that tunnels all the traffic over a VPN link to the house. If it works as well as that does I’ll be happy.
@Craig @paul @geerlingguy Have both router and IPkvm. This is the way to go.

@wajdi gl inet KVM seems good, haven't fully tested mine yet.

NanoKVM has honestly improved quite a bit since my original review; I'm more comfortable running it now.
