I know I’ve said this before but #TheGreatPotteryThrowdown really is the ultimate #WholesomeDelicious and if you’re feeling a bit battered it will do wonderful things for your soul
For anyone who hasn’t watched it, there are two lovely judges, one of who will literally cry when he’s overwhelmed with the beauty of something or how hard someone’s worked. They can and do always find something positive to say unless it’s gone so completely tits up that the only option is to laugh and try and make the contestant feel better. The host is delightful and will count suuuuupppppeeeerrrr slooooooowly to make sure everyone can get their stuff in the drying room before time is called. Also, the kiln attendant is named Princess and the old kiln attendant is now one of the judges. Go on, give yourself a treat 😁 #TheGreatPotteryThrowdown #WholesomeDelicious
Please tell me if you watch it so we can geek out together! #TheGreatPotteryThrowdown #WholesomeDelicious
@dropbear Oh, I love the Pottery Throwdown. I've just started watching Season 8 and Keith has already cried. I would never do clay stuff - all that yukky mud. But I love watching what they all create.
@juliew2010 the standard of the main pieces on this weeks episode was amazing!
@dropbear Just watched latest episode of the latest series - build the high street shops. I didn’t like this one as much as some eg build a loo! But the potters are so clever. I may have a bit of a crush on Rich! But I miss Rose ( who Princess replaced). They became really relaxed and sassy with the potters over the years. And I did covet their long, kilt skirt!
@juliew2010 who amongst us (no matter your flavour) doesn’t have a crush on Rich! And yes, Rose was great, I was sad when she left

I love Great Pottery Throwdown! Haven’t started the most recent series yet, has Rose become a judge?

@Lemlems no, kiln assistant from ago. Prob same judge as you’ve seen before. I was sad to see Rose go but Princess is nice too. @anhdoilc
