I wish someone would make an effort to find out. I'm a lifetime Democrat since 1968 and a former county elected official.
I've never seen the party this weak and unmotivated at the national level. If Bernie Sanders is actually earnest, he would start his own party, not fart around with a party he actually hates.

the problem is, since we're not a parliamentary system nor do we have ranked choice voting, what you're suggesting just divides the left and MAGA wins more

so we are stuck with the need to treat the democratic party as an empty vessel and take it over

third parties are not the way as a matter of what is functionally possible

that requires massive turnout in the primaries and the midterms

the problem is all of these "third party" or "no vote" types don't see how they play into making sure the democrats continue being spineless. because they don't fucking show up. they want to blame blame blame

when the real blame lies on nonvoters and third party voters

we *need* to take over the party
