Trump will try to provoke violence. Keep protests peaceful. Look out for instigators.

@georgetakei

This is not going to be the last time that you'll see the Titler and his Nazis try to provoke situations which would allow them to declare martial law.

@georgetakei either peaceful or unpeaceful. Trump will say it was his success.

@georgetakei I agree that people going out protesting should do so peacefully, if forcefully.

That said, if Trump continues down the path he's on and especially if he starts deploying NG to other places or active duty military, it is the obligation of state governors to stand up, and if necessary, to oppose by force using their own respective states' military forces.

@georgetakei There will for sure be provocateurs sent in by the regime to start violence.
This is a tried & true tactic. All authoritarian regimes have done it.
So always assume your ranks have been compromised.
Don’t waste time blaming each other if violence does occur.
Stay together and wean out the infiltrators when you can, but assume they will be there.

And: Keep ridiculing them at every possible moment to keep morale high!

@georgetakei A friend mentioned there's a No Kings protest planned this weekend where they want 7000 people lining up along the sidewalk on El Camino Real (Spanish for "The Royal Road") between the Tesla dealerships in Sunnyvale and Palo Alto. They are asking people to not block driveways or intersections, or entrances to buildings. If San Mateo County wants to protest Trump's underlings, they could use Alemeda de Las Pulgas (Spanish for Avenue of Fleas).

@georgetakei

Be on the lookout for agent provocateurs. It’s not being unduly conspiratorial to think that they will be there.
