Got pushed into the 2TB tier on Google recently. With my entire family on it, was inevitable.

Now, Apple seems next as I max out 400GB of cloud storage. And 2TB is not cheap.

Google is still fine as I get way more value for money with multiple people using it, and the 2TB tier being cheaper than Apple's.

BUT. Neither is sustainable financially, long-term. Need. to. fix.

@ru Why do you need both? I assume they have Android and you have iOS with Google Photos app?

This is why I started using Nextcloud and Immich. I still use the 200gb tier on iCloud for phone backups, but I try to keep the bulk on those services. The monthly costs get ridiculous!
