Can wholly recommend the 2014 film #Pride, with among others Imelda Staunton and Bill Nighy. I was a teenager when both the miners' strike and #AIDS were continually in the news but I keep having it brought home to me how much I still have to learn. AIDS in particular was presented as a nasty disease you mustn't catch; no-one in my world ever mentioned just how many young men were dying and it continues to shock me. Also watched #fellowtravelers, on a related note, also brilliant.
