@stroughtonsmith @siracusa Huh. I’ve been using eircodes since switching from Google maps six months or more ago. So this has been solved for a while I guess.

@Dataless @siracusa kinda sorta; any listed public addresses that include them could be looked up, but it was very hit or miss beyond that. It's still not perfect, but at least now it won't direct you to a residential area when you're looking for a police station (…one of the examples in my radar)

@stroughtonsmith @siracusa Just to be clear: I live in Ireland and I’m referring to my use of Apple Maps, which nowadays is fairly frequent, and I’ve used Eircodes for new destinations (public and private) almost exclusively and without issue.
