This Is My Glasgow

I came across this mural by Palley today just off Byres Road in the West End of Glasgow, and was instantly transported back to the Sunday afternoons of my childhood and Glen Michael's Cartoon Cavalcade: Is it Penry, the mild-mannered janitor? Could be!

Cartoon cavalcade takes me back, did a bit of browsing and TIL that Glen Michael was also on 'The Adventures of Francie and Josie' which was a bit before my time but a great favourite of my mum's.
