I moved my account from astrodon.social to sciences.re, so it's time for a new #introduction. (french version below) - updated on Nov. 26, 2025

I'm Yaël Moussouni, currently a #PhD student in #astrophysics at the Observatoire astronomique de Strasbourg (@ObsStrasbourg). I'm working primarily on extra-galactic globular clusters and their stellar population, with Karina Voggel and Ariane Lançon.

I'm also involved in #astronomy outreach as a scientific animator at the Planetarium of Strasbourg this year, and Centre Astro of St.-Michel-l'Observatoire during the summer.

Finally, in my free time, I like taking pictures of birds (among other things), playing jazz (organ, piano and guitar), climbing, and I used to fly gliders.

Je suis Yaël Moussouni, actuellement #doctorant en astrophysique à l'Observatoire astronomique de Strasbourg (@ObsStrasbourg). Je travail principalement sur les amas globulaires extragalactiques et leurs populations d'étoiles avec Karina Voggel et Ariane Lançon.

Je suis aussi impliqué dans la médiation scientifique en #astronomie en tant que médiateur scientifique au planétariun de Strasbourg cette année, et au Centre Astro de St.-Michel-l'Observatoire durant l'été.

Enfin, durant mon temps libre, j'aime bien prendre des photos d'oiseaux (entre autres), jouer du jazz (orgue, piano et guitare), faire de l'escalade et fut un temps, piloter des planeurs.
