Hayfever is awful, and there’s more pollen each year it seems. Have you tried a spray like Flixonase? Sorry to sound like a commercial, but the US version has worked really well for me.

I've tried a few things but the one that unfailingly works for the nose for me is the old trick of smearing vaseline around the nostrils.
