As it’s the last day of #MeMadeMay I thought I’d pull together some thoughts on my experience of taking part this year..

1. Loved finding great new people to follow
2. Found some fabulous pattern inspiration
3. Managed to wear something me-made each day for 85% of the month
4. Made a new top, cut out a skirt, half-made a pinafore (no regrets on stopping this, it wasn’t working!)
5. My photography skills are variable at best - I really get bored of all the selfies…

6. It looks like I am obsessed by Sew Over It patterns (true)
7. It looks as though I have never made a pair of trousers or jeans (not true, just not worn)
8. I realise how much I like an interesting print
9. Given how much I wear something home made plus a black RTW top I should really make more black tops
10. Two years ago when I did MMM I had to wear a coat one day, and wore lots more jackets - this time it was summery clothing (in May!) - my wardrobe is not keeping pace with the climate
@popchicken
After a few years of participation, I didn't bother this year since I was on holidays for 3/4 of the month, wearing the same 3 #MeMade outfits again and again. I'm not a big fan of selfies, although I have a good selfie stick and have figured out how to make them tolerable with the portrait setting and careful cropping.
I think that the challenge has been a great kickstart to really filling in my wardrobe gaps by sewing my own.
Well done on the challenge!

@popchicken I really enjoyed all of your outfit posts!
@kimu thank you, that’s very kind
