Sigh, who broke Windows this time?

I enter a UNC path in the File Explorer address bar or the Run dialog and… nothing.

So now I’m restarting my PC, and it’s stuck spinning at the Restarting black screen for minutes on end.

*flips desk*

I just want to work. My user experience would be far better if this software worked, not if it gets Mica material or the WinUI 3 treatment.

And now I restart and my desktop is set to Windows Spotlight because… apparently restarting my PC without giving in and pressing the power button after 10 minutes is a load-bearing part of preserving a long-saved background preference?

I should lobby my employer for a dedicated “Windows 11 User Scream Room” because right now I need a padded screaming room.

And Microsoft wants ~everyone to use this by October.
