“It is up to all of us to fix this. It’s not going to be because somebody comes and saves you.”

The problem is much of the democratic leadership is they're arguing the opposite, and that they believe people should settle and lower their standards. -- That is how we ended up with Donald Trump.

We, the people, need to not settle and need to raise our standards for the betterment of us all. And yes, we need to do that both as individuals, and as collective.

Leadership is important. Calls to action are important. Calls to remove people in power by various means have to be begun by people who are familiar with how power is exercised. If not politicians, revolutionaries will do so and then things will get violent quickly.

@indivisibleteam iniziamo non rinunciando a votare. Io sono per il #NO ai referendum proposti da #CGIL. Ma non votare é un errore. Ne risentirà anche quello sulla #cittadinanza purtroppo.
@indivisibleteam This is rich considering that nearly all of the direct actions and protests have been organized by average people. (I'm thinking of both Indivisible groups and 50501, as well as more local protests in support of kidnapped immigrants.) Yet, I have barely seen any leadership from national D leaders. Maybe they should start sacrificing something as well.
