@emTr0 What's so crazy about it? We've been paying higher prices all along if you factor in inflation.
Plus, if you factor in the number of hours you put into the game, then it can be something like $1 per hour or less even.

@emTr0 I totally disagree. It still costs a TON of money to pay the developers who make those games today. More so than it did 10, 20, 30 years ago.
Again, if I pay $70 for a game and I play the game for 40 - 50 hours, that brings it to $1.75/$1.40 per hour and to be honest, you can't find entertainment cheaper per hour than that I'm afraid.
If you're worried about reselling, then sure, digital isn't for you in the first place, which means you shouldn't care what the price for digital is.
AC: Shadows is a great example here of a game I just paid $70 for. I put 60 hours into the main game itself. I could have easily put 100 hours into it. Plus, I get at least two DLC's for absolute free, both of which will be another 15 - 20 hours each.
Again, you have to look at the overall picture, not just bits and pieces.
@emTr0 To me, it's the only way to look at it. It sucks having to pay that much, but at the same time, we could be paying a lot more if we sit and think about it.
And for me personally, it doesn't matter if anyone else gets the same amount of play time or not. It's just about what I get.
Now having the developer/publisher abandon the game or move on to something else can be a bit of a touchy subject for sure. In that case, I just hope I get my money worth on what I have at the time.
